Bridge Reconstruction –
Jan. – June 2019:
Work has begun on the replacement of the Hoffman Street bridge over the Portage River (near the intersection of Wood Street). Hoffman Street between Portage Ave. and M-60 will be open to local traffic only, and the bridge will be fully closed during reconstruction. The intersection of Wood Street and East Hoffman will also be closed during construction. The project is scheduled to be completed and open to traffic in June of this year.
