FLOOD WARNING
(May 17, 2018).
TR Fire Dept. is urging residents and business owners near rivers to prepare for rising waters. Citizens are urged to STAY OFF THE RIVERS. High water levels cause strong currents making the water unsafe.
Please do not attempt to drive or traverse through flooded streets and roadways. Water levels are expected to crest sometime Friday May 18, 2018, at moderate flood stage. Continued moderate flooding is expected at this time and flooding may increase with further rain.
For residents in the flood affected areas, it is requested that they make preparations for minor to moderate flooding to basements and low lying areas. Please refer to linked PDF below for additional information and check back for further updates as new information becomes available.
