Three Rivers Department of Public Services – Full Time Operator:
The City of Three Rivers Department of Public Services is seeking a qualified individual for full-time Operator. This position is responsible for performing operational duties within the Department of Public Services. Operational duties include street, sanitary sewer, water system, airport, cemetery, and park maintenance. Essential duties include reading water meters, performing water shut-offs and reconnects, locating curb stops, plowing with a 1-ton truck, mowing at the airport, mowing of right-of-ways, installing/removing the boat dock, rebuilding/repainting picnic tables, building and installing signs, petting zoo building maintenance and all other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements: High school graduate or GED, MI Driver’s License, and possess the knowledge and ability to perform the job functions required for the position. This position will also require an employee to achieve their Class B CDL license with air brakes within three (3) months of hire. For additional requirements, refer to job posting (PDF) linked below.
This is a full‐time union position with a pay range of $12.43 – $18.49/hour.
