WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT Wastewater Mechanic I
The City of Three Rivers is seeking a qualified full-time Wastewater Mechanic I for the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Under general supervision of the WWTP Superintendent and/or Senior Operator, the Wastewater Mechanic I performs preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide variety of pumps, valves, check-valves, gates, motors, screens, screws, air handling, odor control equipment, diesel and gasoline engines and other equipment related to the WWTP, Pump Stations, Grinders, and Village of Constantine. This position is also responsible for PM and CM data input into the computer system. Employee will also operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools and equipment, and participate in the development of safety programs.
